House with A Slide, Hackney
For this collaboration with Architects Seán & Stephen, our brief was to design an open kitchen with a contemporary take on Shaker style. We introduced Hague Blue satin lacquer doors with a double framed detail, slatted panelling, open shelving and stepped back tall units to break up the volumes within the space. Along with the brass details of the taps and handles, the richness of the kitchen finishes sit beautifully against the exposed brick walls. Seán & Stephen’s playful re-design of this Victorian home in Hackney, including a slide from the kitchen down to the family room.
